Notre engagement
L'application Tehilim (« l'application »), disponible sur iOS et Android, est conçue avec un principe simple : l'éditeur ne collecte aucune donnée personnelle à des fins de suivi, de publicité ou de statistiques.
La quasi-totalité de l'application fonctionne entièrement hors-ligne. Une seule fonctionnalité — la Chaîne de Tehilim, collaborative et optionnelle — utilise un serveur, et uniquement avec les informations minimales décrites plus bas.
Données collectées par l'éditeur
En usage normal (lecture des Tehilim) : aucune. L'application ne transmet à l'éditeur ni nom, ni email, ni adresse IP à des fins de suivi, ni identifiant publicitaire, ni statistique d'usage.
Il n'y a aucun compte, aucune connexion requise, aucun formulaire à remplir pour lire les Tehilim.
Stockage local
L'application stocke certaines préférences uniquement sur ton appareil (sandbox iOS standard, ou stockage local / DataStore sur Android) :
- Choix de langue (français, anglais, hébreu, système)
- Taille du texte, thème (clair/sombre), mode hébreu/phonétique
- Dernier Tehilim lu (pour la reprise de lecture)
- Mode de lecture quotidienne (mensuel / hebdomadaire), partagé avec le widget, toujours local
- Réglages des rappels quotidiens
Ces données ne quittent jamais ton appareil par l'intermédiaire de l'éditeur.
Synchronisation iCloud (iOS)
Sur iOS, certaines données peuvent être synchronisées entre les appareils Apple connectés au même identifiant Apple via iCloud Key-Value Store. Cette synchronisation est gérée directement par Apple — l'éditeur n'y a aucun accès :
- Favoris (liste des Tehilim marqués ♡)
- Lelouy Nichmat sauvegardés (prénom, lien de parenté, prénom de la mère — saisis librement pour la lecture personnalisée)
Elle utilise exclusivement l'infrastructure iCloud du compte Apple de l'utilisateur (chiffrée et opérée par Apple), ne quitte jamais l'écosystème Apple, et peut être désactivée en se déconnectant d'iCloud. Sur Android, ces données restent uniquement locales à l'appareil.
Chaîne de Tehilim (fonctionnalité collaborative en ligne)
La Chaîne de Tehilim permet de lire les 150 Tehilim à plusieurs, en temps réel, pour une intention partagée. C'est la seule fonctionnalité qui utilise un serveur. Elle est optionnelle : si tu ne crées ni ne rejoins jamais de chaîne, aucune donnée n'est envoyée à nos serveurs.
Quand tu crées ou rejoins une chaîne, les informations suivantes sont enregistrées sur notre infrastructure (base de données Supabase, hébergée dans l'Union européenne, et notre serveur tehilimapp.com) :
- un prénom ou pseudonyme d'affichage que tu choisis (visible des autres participants — c'est le but d'une lecture collective) ;
- l'intention de la chaîne (type + texte libre, ex. le nom d'un proche pour qui prier) ;
- les Tehilim que tu sélectionnes ;
- un identifiant anonyme d'appareil (généré aléatoirement, non relié à ton identité réelle), pour reconnaître le créateur et tes sélections.
Aucun compte, email ou numéro de téléphone n'est demandé. Ne saisis pas d'information sensible dans le prénom d'affichage ou l'intention, puisqu'ils sont visibles des autres participants à la chaîne.
Les chaînes sont automatiquement supprimées de nos serveurs environ 7 jours après la fin de la lecture. Le créateur peut conserver un compte rendu uniquement en local sur son appareil.
Notifications
Rappels quotidiens : planifiés localement par le système (iOS / Android), sans aucun serveur.
Notifications de chaîne (push) : si tu participes à une chaîne, l'application enregistre un jeton de notification push (APNs sur iOS, Firebase Cloud Messaging sur Android) associé à la chaîne, afin de t'avertir de l'avancement (chaîne remplie, prolongée, distribuée, complétée). Ce jeton est utilisé uniquement pour les notifications de chaîne et supprimé avec la chaîne.
Localisation (mode Chabbat)
Si tu actives le mode Chabbat, ta position (GPS si tu l'autorises, sinon la ville que tu choisis) sert uniquement à calculer les horaires d'entrée et de sortie de Chabbat sur ton appareil. Elle n'est jamais transmise ni stockée sur un serveur.
Widget
Le widget « Tehilim du jour » lit les Tehilim du jour depuis le corpus embarqué dans l'application. Aucune requête réseau n'est effectuée.
Fonctionnement hors-ligne
Le corpus complet (texte hébreu, traductions française et anglaise) est embarqué dans l'application au téléchargement. En dehors de la Chaîne de Tehilim, l'application ne fait aucune requête réseau.
Services tiers
L'application n'utilise aucun SDK d'analyse, de tracking, de publicité ni de crash reporting. Aucun cookie, aucun pixel publicitaire. Les seuls prestataires techniques, utilisés exclusivement pour la Chaîne de Tehilim, sont :
- Supabase (base de données et temps réel, hébergement UE) ;
- Apple Push Notification service (APNs) et Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM, Google) pour l'acheminement des notifications de chaîne.
Sources du contenu
Le contenu religieux affiché provient de sources tierces dûment créditées :
- Texte hébreu et traduction anglaise (JPS 1917) : Sefaria (licence CC-BY)
- Traduction française : Beth Loubavitch — le-tehilim.online (avec leur autorisation)
- Police hébraïque Ezra SIL SR : SIL International (licence SIL OFL)
Ces sources ne reçoivent aucune donnée te concernant — leur contenu est copié dans l'application au moment du build.
Droits des utilisateurs (RGPD)
L'application ne collecte aucune donnée à des fins de suivi. Tes données restent sous ton contrôle :
- Désinstaller l'application supprime les données locales.
- Sur iOS, supprimer Tehilim depuis Réglages → [ton nom] → iCloud → Gérer le stockage du compte → Tehilim supprime aussi les données synchronisées dans iCloud.
- Pour les données d'une Chaîne de Tehilim : elles sont supprimées automatiquement après la lecture ; pour une suppression anticipée, le créateur peut supprimer la chaîne, ou écris-nous à l'adresse ci-dessous.
Enfants
L'application convient à tous les publics (4+). Elle ne collecte aucune donnée à des fins de suivi, d'aucun utilisateur, enfant ou adulte.
Modifications
Toute modification de cette politique sera publiée sur cette même page avec une nouvelle date de mise à jour.

Our commitment
The Tehilim app ("the app"), available on iOS and Android, is built on a simple principle: the publisher collects no personal data for tracking, advertising, or analytics.
Almost the entire app works fully offline. Only one feature — the Tehilim Chain, a collaborative and optional feature — uses a server, and only with the minimal information described below.
Data collected by the publisher
In normal use (reading Tehilim): none. The app transmits to the publisher no name, email, tracking IP address, advertising identifier, or usage analytics.
There is no account, no sign-in required, no form to fill to read Tehilim.
Local storage
The app stores some preferences only on your device (standard iOS sandbox, or local storage / DataStore on Android):
- Language choice (French, English, Hebrew, system)
- Text size, theme (light/dark), Hebrew/phonetic mode
- Last Tehilim read (for resume reading)
- Daily reading mode (monthly / weekly), shared with the widget, always local
- Daily reminder settings
This data never leaves your device through the publisher.
iCloud sync (iOS)
On iOS, some data may sync across Apple devices signed in with the same Apple ID via iCloud Key-Value Store. This sync is handled directly by Apple — the publisher has no access:
- Favorites (list of Tehilim marked ♡)
- Saved Lelouy Nichmat (first name, relationship, mother's first name — freely entered for personalized reading)
It uses only the iCloud infrastructure of the user's Apple account (encrypted and operated by Apple), never leaves the Apple ecosystem, and can be disabled by signing out of iCloud. On Android, this data stays local to the device only.
Tehilim Chain (online collaborative feature)
The Tehilim Chain lets several people read the 150 Tehilim together, in real time, for a shared intention. It is the only feature that uses a server. It is optional: if you never create or join a chain, no data is ever sent to our servers.
When you create or join a chain, the following is stored on our infrastructure (Supabase database, hosted in the European Union, and our tehilimapp.com server):
- a display name or nickname you choose (visible to other participants — that is the point of collective reading);
- the chain's intention (type + free text, e.g. the name of a loved one to pray for);
- the Tehilim you select;
- an anonymous device identifier (randomly generated, not linked to your real identity), to recognize the creator and your selections.
No account, email, or phone number is requested. Do not enter sensitive information in the display name or intention, since they are visible to the other chain participants.
Chains are automatically deleted from our servers about 7 days after the reading ends. The creator may keep a summary only locally on their device.
Notifications
Daily reminders: scheduled locally by the operating system (iOS / Android), with no server involved.
Chain notifications (push): if you take part in a chain, the app stores a push notification token (APNs on iOS, Firebase Cloud Messaging on Android) associated with the chain, to notify you of progress (chain filled, extended, distributed, completed). This token is used only for chain notifications and deleted with the chain.
Location (Shabbat mode)
If you enable Shabbat mode, your location (GPS if you allow it, otherwise the city you choose) is used only to compute Shabbat start and end times on your device. It is never transmitted or stored on a server.
Widget
The "Today's Tehilim" widget reads the day's psalms from the corpus embedded in the app. No network request is made.
Offline operation
The full corpus (Hebrew text, French and English translations) is bundled with the app at download. Apart from the Tehilim Chain, the app makes no network requests.
Third-party services
The app uses no analytics SDK, tracking, advertising, or crash reporting. No cookies, no advertising pixels. The only technical providers, used exclusively for the Tehilim Chain, are:
- Supabase (database and real-time, EU hosting);
- Apple Push Notification service (APNs) and Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM, Google) to deliver chain notifications.
Content sources
The religious content displayed comes from properly credited third-party sources:
- Hebrew text and English translation (JPS 1917): Sefaria (CC-BY license)
- French translation: Beth Loubavitch — le-tehilim.online (with permission)
- Hebrew font Ezra SIL SR: SIL International (SIL OFL license)
These sources receive no data about you — their content is copied into the app at build time.
User rights (GDPR / CCPA)
The app collects no data for tracking. Your data stays under your control:
- Uninstalling the app deletes local data.
- On iOS, removing Tehilim from Settings → [your name] → iCloud → Manage Account Storage → Tehilim also deletes the synced iCloud data.
- For data in a Tehilim Chain: it is deleted automatically after the reading; for earlier deletion, the creator can delete the chain, or write to us at the address below.
Children
The app is suitable for all audiences (4+). It collects no tracking data from any user, child or adult.
Changes
Any changes to this policy will be published on this same page with a new last-updated date.

המחויבות שלנו
אפליקציית תהילים («האפליקציה»), הזמינה ל-iOS ול-Android, בנויה על עיקרון פשוט: המפיץ אינו אוסף נתונים אישיים למטרות מעקב, פרסום או סטטיסטיקה.
כמעט כל האפליקציה פועלת לחלוטין ללא אינטרנט. רק תכונה אחת — שרשרת תהילים, שיתופית ואופציונלית — משתמשת בשרת, ורק עם המידע המינימלי המתואר להלן.
נתונים שנאספים על ידי המפיץ
בשימוש רגיל (קריאת תהילים): אין. האפליקציה אינה מעבירה למפיץ שם, דוא״ל, כתובת IP למעקב, מזהה פרסומי או נתוני שימוש.
אין חשבון, אין צורך בהתחברות, ואין טופס למילוי כדי לקרוא תהילים.
אחסון מקומי
האפליקציה שומרת חלק מההעדפות במכשיר שלך בלבד (ה-sandbox הסטנדרטי של iOS, או אחסון מקומי / DataStore ב-Android):
- בחירת שפה (עברית, צרפתית, אנגלית, מערכת)
- גודל טקסט, מצב תצוגה (בהיר/כהה), מצב עברית/פונטיקה
- הפרק האחרון שנקרא (להמשך קריאה)
- מצב הקריאה היומית (חודשי / שבועי), משותף עם הווידג׳ט, תמיד מקומי
- הגדרות התזכורות היומיות
נתונים אלו לעולם אינם עוזבים את המכשיר שלך דרך המפיץ.
סנכרון iCloud (iOS)
ב-iOS, חלק מהנתונים עשויים להסתנכרן בין מכשירי Apple המחוברים לאותו Apple ID דרך iCloud Key-Value Store. הסנכרון מנוהל ישירות על ידי Apple — למפיץ אין אליו גישה:
- מועדפים (רשימת הפרקים המסומנים ♡)
- לעילוי נשמת שמורים (שם פרטי, קשר משפחתי, שם האם — מוזנים באופן חופשי לקריאה האישית)
הסנכרון משתמש אך ורק בתשתית iCloud של חשבון Apple של המשתמש (מוצפנת ומופעלת על ידי Apple), לעולם אינו עוזב את הסביבה של Apple, וניתן לכבותו על ידי התנתקות מ-iCloud. ב-Android נתונים אלו נשארים מקומיים למכשיר בלבד.
שרשרת תהילים (תכונה שיתופית מקוונת)
שרשרת תהילים מאפשרת לכמה אנשים לקרוא יחד את 150 הפרקים, בזמן אמת, לכוונה משותפת. זוהי התכונה היחידה שמשתמשת בשרת. היא אופציונלית: אם לעולם לא תפתחו או תצטרפו לשרשרת, לא יישלחו נתונים לשרתים שלנו.
כשאתם פותחים שרשרת או מצטרפים אליה, המידע הבא נשמר בתשתית שלנו (מסד נתונים Supabase, מאוחסן באיחוד האירופי, והשרת שלנו tehilimapp.com):
- שם תצוגה או כינוי שאתם בוחרים (גלוי למשתתפים האחרים — זו מטרת הקריאה המשותפת);
- הכוונה של השרשרת (סוג + טקסט חופשי, למשל שם של יקר שמתפללים עבורו);
- הפרקים שאתם בוחרים;
- מזהה מכשיר אנונימי (נוצר אקראית, ללא קשר לזהותכם האמיתית), לזיהוי היוצר והבחירות שלכם.
לא נדרשים חשבון, דוא״ל או מספר טלפון. אין להזין מידע רגיש בשם התצוגה או בכוונה, שכן הם גלויים לשאר משתתפי השרשרת.
השרשראות נמחקות אוטומטית מהשרתים שלנו כשבעה ימים לאחר סיום הקריאה. היוצר יכול לשמור סיכום במכשירו בלבד.
התראות
תזכורות יומיות: מתוזמנות מקומית על ידי מערכת ההפעלה (iOS / Android), ללא כל שרת.
התראות שרשרת (Push): אם אתם משתתפים בשרשרת, האפליקציה שומרת אסימון התראה (Push token) (APNs ב-iOS, Firebase Cloud Messaging ב-Android) המשויך לשרשרת, כדי לעדכן אתכם בהתקדמות (השרשרת התמלאה, הוארכה, חולקה, הושלמה). האסימון משמש אך ורק להתראות השרשרת ונמחק יחד עם השרשרת.
מיקום (מצב שבת)
אם תפעילו את מצב שבת, המיקום שלכם (GPS אם תאשרו, אחרת העיר שתבחרו) משמש אך ורק לחישוב זמני כניסת ויציאת השבת במכשיר שלכם. הוא לעולם אינו נשלח או נשמר בשרת.
ווידג׳ט
הווידג׳ט «תהילים יומי» קורא את פרקי היום מהמאגר המוטמע באפליקציה. לא מתבצעת כל פנייה לרשת.
פעולה ללא אינטרנט
המאגר המלא (טקסט עברי, תרגומים לצרפתית ולאנגלית) מוטמע באפליקציה בעת ההורדה. מלבד שרשרת התהילים, האפליקציה אינה מבצעת כל פנייה לרשת.
שירותי צד שלישי
האפליקציה אינה משתמשת בכל SDK של ניתוח נתונים, מעקב, פרסום או דיווח קריסות. אין עוגיות, אין פיקסלים פרסומיים. ספקי הטכנולוגיה היחידים, המשמשים אך ורק לשרשרת התהילים, הם:
- Supabase (מסד נתונים וזמן אמת, אחסון באיחוד האירופי);
- Apple Push Notification service (APNs) ו-Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM, Google) להעברת התראות השרשרת.

זכויות המשתמשים (GDPR)
האפליקציה אינה אוספת נתונים למטרות מעקב. הנתונים שלכם נשארים בשליטתכם:
- הסרת האפליקציה מוחקת את הנתונים המקומיים.
- ב-iOS, הסרת תהילים דרך הגדרות → [השם שלך] → iCloud → ניהול אחסון החשבון → תהילים מוחקת גם את הנתונים המסונכרנים ב-iCloud.
- לנתוני שרשרת תהילים: הם נמחקים אוטומטית לאחר הקריאה; למחיקה מוקדמת, היוצר יכול למחוק את השרשרת, או שתכתבו אלינו לכתובת שלהלן.
ילדים
האפליקציה מתאימה לכל הגילאים (4+). היא אינה אוספת נתוני מעקב מאף משתמש, ילד או מבוגר.
